THE NAAFI SONG

You can talk about the Army and the Air Force - and the Sailor who guards us on the sea
But the ones who count the most, and yet never ever boast, are the lassies serving up the NAAFI tea.

Never grumbling or complaining is their motto, but serve with only kindness and a smile
For sure ‘tis plain to see that without a cup of tea this service life would not be worth your while.

So spare a thought of deep appreciation to those NAAFI lassies, each and everyone
For never was so much by so many serving you to a service where no medals can be won

- Billy Bull
