Sylvia Guy (nee: Weeden) was asked, along with other girls to feature in an Egyptain magazine. She remembers that all the photos were posed and that they were positioned and directed by the photographer.
Sylvia is pictured in the first photo – up the ladder. When the magazine was published, Sylvia asked someone to translate the article which turned out to be very degrading – stating that the English girls spent all their time drinking, partying and chasing men!
