2018 ANNIVERSARY REUNION
WEEKEND 7th - 10th SEPTEMBER 2018
The Crown Plaza Hotel , Old Common Road, Basingstoke, Berkshire
Friday afternoon started with an informal "Meet & Greet", giving all an opportunity to meet each other, tell us all "A Tale Or Two" about their time and service in The Canal Zone and receive their Canal Zoner Fez. New friendships were formed and old ones re-united.

Saturday morning, after breakfast, it was a coach trip into Windsor with plenty of time to see the sights, do some shopping, and have a bite of lunch . It was then back to the hotel to prepare for our evening Dinner/Dance.
Guests attending this year were: The Worshipful the Mayor of Rushmoor, Cllr Steve Masterson, Major Darren Pridmore, Welsh Guards S02 101 Log Bde & WO1 Keith Weller, Royal Navy
Everyone was individually introduced to our guests during our pre-dinner reception with everyone being kept entertained with amusing stories and antidotes from our guests. A formal Dinner followed with speeches which proved to be most amusing and entertaining. Music was provided by Nara, who not only sang our requested songs but managed to get everyone involved and many on the dance floor - even if it was only for the "Hokey-Cokey" . All our guests were a delightful addition to the evening, taking time to really get to know everyone, sharing many a joke and listening to many a tale.
