RA 73 HAA REGT, GENEIFA 1952-54
As Remembered By Dennis Baker
In 1952, when long-haul flights where in their infancy, being posted to Egypt was a dream come true - until you got there! Two years of firing camps, numerous guard duties, lousy food, flies and continuous dysentery did not turn out to be the fun, sun and sand we expected. I met some grand lads and we all made the best of our time there.
